One of his most notable efforts was his participation in the Locked in a Kennel event, where he volunteered to spend time in a kennel to raise awareness and funds for the SPCA's mission. This hands-on commitment shows Ty’s deep connection to the welfare of animals in the RMWB, and his desire to make a tangible difference for both the people and the animals in his community.

 In It for the People, Not the Money:

Ty is clear: he’s not in this for the paycheck. His dedication to serving the people of Ward 1 is his priority, not financial gain. In fact, Ty has pledged to donate a portion of his salary from his time on council to a different local charity each month. By doing so, he ensures that his service to the community extends beyond the council chambers and directly supports the causes that matter most to the people of RMWB.
